Liko and Roy seek information about Rayquaza from Dot, who responds with a drawing of a defeated Roy and Fuecoco. Friede agrees to train them by having them battle his partner, Captain Cap Pikachu. After their initial strategy of blindly issuing commands fails, the duo learns to focus on Cap's movements, though Sprigatito and Fuecoco fall asleep during the match. Liko and Roy then test their new understanding against each other, resulting in Sprigatito learning Quick Attack to defeat Fuecoco. Following this victory, Dot provides a drawing of Rayquaza flying over Paldea, suggesting the legendary Pokémon is located there.
