Ash Ketchum faces Goldenrod City Gym Leader Whitney to earn a badge for the Johto League. He quickly defeats her Nidorina and Clefairy. Whitney then sends out Miltank, which uses Rollout to defeat Ash's Cyndaquil and Totodile. Desperate, Ash sends out Pikachu. Although they attempt a strategy involving shocking Miltank while it is wet from Totodile's Water Gun, Miltank's Rollout proves too powerful. Pikachu faints, resulting in Whitney winning the battle.
