Ep. 85: Ash and friends seek Professor Ivy for the GS Ball on Valencia Island

Ash, Misty, and Brock travel to Valencia Island to find Professor Ivy and obtain the mysterious GS Ball. After visiting her laboratory, they learn the ball cannot be opened or transported, so they must return it to Professor Oak for examination. Brock chooses to remain on the island with Professor Ivy to study Pokémon. Ash and Misty depart alone, boarding a dirigible airship where they encounter Team Rocket. Jigglypuff suddenly appears and begins to sing. Team Rocket and Jigglypuff exit the blimp, which subsequently crash lands on Tangelo Island.
