Butch and Cassidy utilize Drowzee to emit signals from a large antenna, causing Ash's Pikachu, Misty's Togepi, and the Pokémon belonging to Jessie and James to rebel against their trainers. To rescue their partners, the trainers must form an alliance. During this effort, Togepi learns the move Metronome from Drowzee. The group works together to counter the effects of the antenna and restore control over the affected Pokémon.
