Following a shopkeeper's suggestion, Ash and Pikachu travel by kayak to Treasure Island, encountering various wild Pokémon. They observe Crabrawler chasing Cutiefly into a meadow of friendly bug Pokémon and interact with Alolan Exeggutor. Their outing is interrupted by a school of Wimpod attempting to steal their food. As they prepare to leave, they discover a Wimpod trapped in a blocked cave. Using assistance from an Exeggutor they met earlier, Ash and Pikachu free the trapped Pokémon, which then rejoins its group. Before departing, they encounter the Island Guardian Tapu Lele, who heals the bruises on Ash's hands.
