Mallow invites classmates to her restaurant to sample her Alolan stew, but using Pikachu’s electricity for cooking causes issues. She realizes she lacks the rare Yellow Nectar, prompting Ash and Pikachu to assist in gathering it. They attempt to use an Oricorio to locate the ingredient, but finding one proves difficult. During this time, Ash’s Rowlet develops affection for Mallow’s Bounsweet, which is not returned. Team Rocket appears again, intending to steal the nectar rather than Pikachu. Their interference triggers Bounsweet to evolve into Steenee, which unleashes a powerful slap attack against the intruders.
