Ep. 22: Ash and Litten are swallowed by Palossand after a shovel incident

Ash struggles to help Litten master Fire Fang while training. Rockruff’s Rock Throw accidentally knocks a shovel off Sandygast’s head, angering the Ghost-type. Ash tries to replace the shovel with his Rotom-Dex, but this provokes Sandygast further. The enraged Sandygast evolves into Palossand and swallows both Ash and Litten. Palossand’s energy drain affects Litten and Rotom-Dex as well. With Ash and his partners trapped and weakened, the rest of Ash’s classmates must step in to rescue them from the powerful evolved Pokémon. The group faces a difficult challenge to save their friends from the sand castle’s grasp.
