Sophocles and his family are relocating, which means he must depart from his Pokémon school and all his companions. Although he attempts to conceal this news from his classmates, they notice that both he and Togedemaru are deeply distressed. Ash and his friends collaborate to organize a farewell party intended to lift Sophocles' spirits. However, the situation becomes complicated when Sophocles realizes he has made an error, making it extremely difficult for him to confess the truth to his friends.
