Ep. 37: Rockruff Meets Tapu Lele and Evolves into Dusk Form Lycanroc

A Rockruff nearing evolution wanders off at night and challenges Akala Island guardian Tapu Lele, suffering an easy defeat. Ash and Pikachu locate the Pokémon, but Rockruff attacks Ash in distress before fleeing. The next day, a search party including Olivia’s Lycanroc joins the effort. Rockruff is discovered injured near a river by Olivia’s and Gladion’s Lycanroc, who carry it to the Ruins of Life. Ash arrives with Olivia and Professor Kukui just as Tapu Lele prepares to fight the two Lycanroc. Tapu Lele uses energy from Ash and the Lycanroc to heal Rockruff, triggering its evolution into Dusk Form Lycanroc.
