A TV crew visits Mallow’s family restaurant, where Team Rocket operates a failing food truck nearby. After her father overworks her, Mallow runs off with Steenee. Team Rocket pursues them, but Mallow falls and loses consciousness. An Oranguru finds and cares for her. While Mallow’s father and friends search for her, Team Rocket captures Steenee. Oranguru uses psychic powers to free Steenee, and together they defeat Team Rocket. Bewear appears but refuses to fight Oranguru, allowing Team Rocket to be blasted off again. When Mallow’s father and the group arrive, he recognizes Oranguru as his former cooking teacher. Mallow and her father reconcile, ending the conflict peacefully.
