Ash and his companions travel on Mamoswine to cross a snow-covered mountain en route to Anistar City. They discover a cave where an Abomasnow is nursing a sick Snover. To help the ill Pokémon, the group searches for medicinal plants native to the mountain. Team Rocket intervenes and captures Abomasnow, but Braixen and Chespin manage to rescue it from the net, allowing the group to continue their journey.
