The Theme Performance centers on Poke Puffs, allowing Serena, Miette, and Jessilia (Team Rocket’s Jessie in disguise) to advance to the Freestyle Performance. A confrontation with Jessie damages Serena’s costume, causing her to fear a repeat of her previous failure. Remembering lessons from traveling with Ash, she refuses to quit and uses her sewing kit for last-minute repairs. This determination leads her to win the Freestyle Performance and secure her first Princess Key.
