Rue discusses Princess Tutu with Fakir while Duck cleans a classroom and dances with Mytho. Fakir locks Mytho away after suspecting Duck knows his secret. Duck escapes through a window into catacombs, where she solves riddles from a sentient lamp holding a heart piece. The lamp desires Mytho to shine for it, but Princess Tutu persuades it to release him. Mytho regains his affection. Rue waits for Mytho at the plaza, and they share a dance. He gazes at her gently, surprising her into fleeing. Fakir glares while Duck watches Rue leave with the lamp, unhappy with the outcome.
