Jan 8, 2012Madoka Kyouno saves a drowning girl at the beach but loses her uniform. As a Jersey Club member, she engages in tennis and kendo. A strange girl returns the uniform, and her cousin Youko Nakaizumi asks about her feelings for Kamogawa. The next day, the girl, Fin E Ld Si Laffinty (Lan), invites Madoka to pilot an Ovid at Pharos. Touching the machine triggers a flashback. Rebel Array attacks in the Teneritas. Lan, an alien protecting Madoka, reveals their link. Madoka pilots the emotional Ovid, transforming it to fight Array. She defeats him using wrestling knowledge, accepting her role as the pilot.

Jan 15, 2012After an attack, Madoka learns her Ovid is the Vox Aura from chief adviser Moid. Fleet captain Shozo Tadokoro of Novumundus informs her of upcoming missions. While Madoka attempts to contact Youko without success, Moid and Tadokoro discuss her value as a pilot. Madoka wanders into the storage hangar and encounters another pilot, Muginami. Lan directs her to fight Kiss member Izo, who pilots the Ovid Voluntas. Doubt causes the Vox Aura to shut down during the battle. Youko, a marine biologist, calls to encourage Madoka to finish what she started. Madoka counterattacks Izo, but Kirius, piloting the Ovid Libertas, appears behind her. Madoka suspects a pincer movement by the enemy forces.

Lan Blooms in Kamogawa
Jan 22, 2012Madoka confronts Kirius to defend her town, while Lan struggles with a legend Moid cited regarding her fear of piloting the Vox Rympha. Kirius pins Madoka on a peanut farm and invites her to his planet, but she refuses, resuming the battle. Sensing Madoka’s peril, Lan overcomes her hesitation to pilot the Vox Rympha, only to face Izo, who emerges from the ocean. Lan apologizes for involving Madoka in the conflict against De Metrio Ovids, but Madoka’s encouragement boosts Lan’s morale. This allows Lan to transform the Vox Rympha into warrior mode and aid Madoka, forcing Kirius and Izo to retreat. The pair thank each other and rename their Ovids Midori and Orca. Meanwhile, Array remains confined in Pharos reciting a legend about three colored demons, while Muginami has escaped.

Muginami joins Madoka's class and the Jersey Club after a swimming incident
Jan 29, 2012Muginami transfers to Madoka's class, prompting concerns from Tadokoro and Youko. Teacher Machiko Iwabuchi permits Madoka to pilot Midori only if she maintains her home life and school attendance. During an annual high school open water swimming competition, Muginami accidentally tips Lan, who cannot swim, into the ocean. Muginami helps Madoka rescue Lan and performs forceful chest compressions and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Madoka invites Muginami to join the Jersey Club, annoying Lan. Both girls begin working part-time at the Be With Hiroshi restaurant, owned by Madoka's uncle Hiroshi Nakaizumi, as their contrasting personalities attract customers. When Madoka allows Muginami to live with her, a jealous Lan transfers to the same class, joins the club, and moves in as well. Separately, a Pharos security glitch enables Array to escape in the Ovid Teneritas and reunite with his allies.

Lan discovers Muginami seeks the Vox Ignis Ovid for her brother, Villagulio, who arrives shortly after. Madoka and the stranger visit the Be With Hiroshi restaurant. Muginami joins them, revealing the stranger is her non-blood brother and a Kiss associate. She declares loyalty to Villagulio, but he betrays her to keep the Ovid. Hiroshi stops Madoka from attacking Villagulio, who escapes piloting the Avarium Ovid.

Villagulio offers an energy drink to Kirius and Izo in their spaceship, and Madoka gives the same drink to Lan at the base. The conflict begins in the atmosphere before dawn, where Villagulio surrounds the pair with De Metrio Ovids. Moid persuades Muginami to pilot the Vox Ignis through the enemy ranks. Muginami blocks Madoka, criticizing her selfish revenge attempt. During their argument, green Lagrange flowers rain down, causing the Rin-ne realm to blossom.

Feb 19, 2012Lan and Madoka converse on a water taxi, where Madoka expresses conflict regarding Muginami's actions. Muginami is discharged from the hospital, and Moid and Tadokoro reveal she originates from a remote penal colony that did not sign a human rights treaty. Lan informs Madoka that Villagulio was a former crowned prince of De Metrio and was once close to Muginami due to their shared love of apples. Machiko asks Madoka and Lan to help gather eels from the school swimming pool. Madoka encounters Muginami in a classroom, sneezes, and the two take a hot bath at home. Muginami recounts how Villagulio entered her life when she was younger, leading Madoka to apologize and embrace her. When Muginami attempts to leave at night, Lan stops her and Madoka convinces her to stay, resulting in the three bathing in the ocean together. Madoka Lifts Ban to Defend Pharos Against De Metrio Fleet Assault
Mar 18, 2012Midori transmits her thoughts to Lan and Muginami as Lan unsuccessfully urges Tadokoro to lift Madoka’s ban. Meanwhile, the De Metrio fleet led by Grania attacks Lan, while Villagulio fights Muginami. Youko reveals research regarding events from 20,000 years ago and the power of three, convincing Asteria to allow Madoka to join the battle. Kirius, Izo, and Array defend the school from the fleet’s fire. When a De Metrio Ovid lands on the track and field, Youko is critically injured on top of Michi. This tragedy causes a devastated Madoka to force the three Vox Units to bloom green, blue, and orange Lagrange flowers against their will.

Madoka and Lan part ways after resolving the energy field crisis and saving Villagulio.
Mar 25, 2012Two weeks later, the town discovers alien civilizations and Lan’s status as Le Garite princess. Before returning home, Madoka and Lan visit the Hill of Vows to place a padlock under a goddess statue, promising to reunite in Kamogawa with Muginami. Flashbacks reveal that after Lagrange flowers bloomed, an energy field appeared. Madoka, guided by Yurikano, regained control of Midori to transform the field with Lan and Muginami’s help. Upon learning Youko is alive, Midori shut down, and Villagulio targeted Madoka. The Le Garite army, led by Dizelmine, intervened, allowing Muginami to leave with Villagulio to save him. In the present, Madoka and Lan bid farewell. Moid is revealed as Dizelmine’s observer. As autumn approaches, Asteria shows her memoria to Youko, and Madoka receives a letter from Muginami.
