Witnessing their potential, Aoi chooses to coach the fifth years. The following day, Tomoka invites Subaru to her weekend birthday celebration. He requests Aoi's assistance in selecting a present, which she reluctantly accepts. At the event, the girls urge Tomoka to sit on Subaru's lap, causing him significant embarrassment. Tomoka receives a basketball from Maho, Saki, Hinata, and Airi, a head ribbon from Aoi, and a towel from Subaru. The next day, Subaru gifts Tomoka a chance to practice the scoop shot technique together, and they enjoy a training session.
