Lan encounters Route, a guide program at an automobile museum, while criminal Ken steals cars to save his girlfriend from a mob leader using Asteroid BrightMan. Lan attempts to intervene but is overpowered by the asteroid. Route sacrifices herself to help defeat BrightMan, leading to a temporary restoration of peace. She is subsequently revived from backup data, ensuring her survival after the conflict concludes.
