Ep. 9: Eigetsu encounters a doppelganger while Kōrin seeks help and Shūrei’s group enters Korin

Eigetsu assists sick villagers before being abducted by a cloaked figure resembling the late Dōshu. He wakes up beaten and bound in a cave, quickly realizing the imposter is not Dōshu. Meanwhile, Kōrin flees to locate Eigetsu. Shūrei’s party, escorted by Shūei, reaches Korin but is barred from entering. Ensei and Shō Sai breach the gate, allowing the group to set up camp. Before leaving, Shūei hands Ensei Seiran’s Kansho. Shūrei then questions Ensei about performing an extraordinary act if necessary.
