Ryūki fails to invite the Hyō Clan head to tea while the fake Dōshu waits for Eigetsu to die or Yōgetsu to appear. Ensei reaches Sekiei Village before Shūrei and meets Seiran, who refuses the sword Kansho, insisting he keep it close until matters resolve. Meanwhile, Shūrei’s group plans to infiltrate the Jasenkyō hideout. A weary Ryūren in ordinary clothes arrives at their camp. Kōrin receives assistance from Shūren, allowing her to reunite with her special person.
