Ep. 7: Harumi’s Dōjinshi Mishap and the Chaotic Portable Shrine Festival
Aired on August 19, 2007

7
Harumi Fujiyoshi meets Nozomu while preparing dōjinshi copies for Comiket. She explains her hobby, but Nozomu misunderstands the term, interpreting it as literary rather than manga-related. At the event, Chiri criticizes Harumi’s dōjin structure, insisting on the Kishōtenketsu yonkoma format. In response, Nozomu adds a fifth panel to the standard four-panel layout. The episode then shifts to a matsuri where enthusiastic participants pile random items and people onto portable shrines. They parade and dance through the streets with these makeshift floats, creating a chaotic and humorous scene that contrasts with the earlier creative dispute over comic formatting.
