Ryo needs 150,000¥ for a plane ticket to Hong Kong, so Goro and Mai help him get hired at a harbor company. His trainer, Mark, teaches him to operate forklifts. Goro shows Ryo empty warehouses for shelter. Terry of the Mad Angels learns Ryo is investigating their territory. Ryo discusses his father's death with Nozomi at Sakura Park. The next day, Mad Angels beat Mark for knowing Ryo. Ryo stays and defeats the attackers. Mark reveals he works there to find his son in the gang. Nozomi tails two gang members after hearing about Ryo's dispute and is captured as a bargaining chip. Ryo finds her and is forced to fight Guizhang of the Chen to free her. He writes the warehouse number for Gozo before the fight. Ryo and Guizhang battle until both appear knocked out.
