Ouri continues priest training under Takamasa while Rika guides Makina to remove a rotten rune via an enkiri in a cave. Concurrently, the Seven Stars plot Makina’s defeat, with Ena tasked to hunt her first. Succumbing to her bond with Keisei, Makina breaks out of the cave, evading Rika. She later confronts Ouri at a hot spring, demanding contract termination due to his perceived lack of strength. Rika and Shikabane Hime Saki Amase quickly restrain and imprison Makina. Subsequently, Takamasa takes Ouri to witness a mission to kill a Shikabane, highlighting the ongoing threats and internal conflicts surrounding the characters.
