Takamasa aids Itsuki in defeating Tomoharu within a parking garage. Meanwhile, Rika and Saki alert Ouri to a revived Keisei sighting in the mountains. Makina locates him but senses a change and falls into a ditch. Ouri arrives at the forest, where he meets Sadahiro Mibu. While Rika stops Sadahiro from interfering, Ouri rushes to find Makina. As the disguised Keisei approaches Makina, Ouri impales him with a spear, forcing him to retreat. Ouri then comforts Makina, and Sadahiro recognizes her effort to sever ties with her former Contracted Monk. It is revealed that Ena was the one disguised as Keisei, reappearing alongside duplicates of him.
