Ep. 9: Maria bonds with Basara while Mio faces kidnapping threats from Zest and Zolgear
Maria prepares for a new pact with Basara, who reluctantly agrees to her request to be dominated after she expresses her conviction to Mio. During the ritual, they unexpectedly level up, followed by a group bath interrupted by an observer. The next day, Basara injures his finger in basketball and receives advice from Mio in the nurse’s office. Mio’s friend approaches Basara aggressively, causing Mio to flee in jealousy. Yuki identifies this as an attack and directs Basara to protect Mio, but she is captured by Zest and Maria. Chained up, Mio faces Zolgear until Maria arrives with orders from the demon lord to halt the assault. Lars and Basara discuss Maria’s hostage situation, leading to a fight when Lars refuses to reveal her location. Lars then confronts Zest, demanding Mio’s release in exchange for an unconscious Basara.
