Ep. 21: Masahiro and Guren face underworld demons while Guren attacks Masahiro after his seal is removed.
Masahiro, Guren, and the 3 Shinsho remain trapped in the underworld. Masahiro asks Genbu to create a mirror so Nagako can see her mother, leading to an emotional reunion that convinces Nagako to return home. Meanwhile, Masahiro and the 3 Shinsho struggle against a demon regenerated by miasma until Guren defeats it. Guren then attacks Masahiro because Kazane removed the seal on his head and the Soul Binding Spell earlier. Rikugo battles Guren, now identified as Touda, to protect Masahiro. Seimei arrives to fight Touda while his Shinsho tend to Masahiro’s wounds and Tenistsu heals him by transferring the injuries to herself. The crow, revealed to be Chishiki no Guji who killed Ryuusai and cursed the emperor, uses Touda to attack Seimei and his Shinsho.
