Yorito and Aono plan to leave to restore the past. Mana questions Yorito about his true identity, but he remains silent. Later, Mana discusses Yorito with friends and realizes everyone except her has forgotten him. Fearing this implication, she runs to the school roof to find Yorito, recalling his statement that everything would become clear after sunset. However, after sunset, Mana is left alone on the roof, crying heavily with no memory of why. Her recollections of Yorito are erased, matching the fate of the others. Towards the end, Takeshi and Mayuko depart the town. Meanwhile, Matsuri visits Aono’s house carrying Takeshi’s sword.
