Yorito wakes at school convinced that his previous night with Matsuri was merely a dream, a belief reinforced by Aono’s intervention with her powers. As he struggles to recall the true events, he collapses at school and is taken home by Mana. Aono subsequently orders Mana to leave. Once alone, Aono confines Yorito to his room, intensifying her use of powers to control him. Her actions are driven by a desire to remain with him, as she seeks to fulfill her wish to be together with Yorito through her increasing dominance over his situation and memories.
