Akiha’s morning is disrupted by sister Kazane’s push for an arranged marriage and Nami’s mockery, prompting Akiha and her robot friend Imoko to escape to the spaceport. Nami pursues them but is halted by her agoraphobia and missing student card. Akiha and Imoko are joined by classmates who provide an escape pod, allowing Akiha to avoid returning home. During their journey, they encounter a gravity quake originating from the brain colony Leopard. Inside, they meet the eccentric AI and are joined by ICP officer Itsuki Kannagi, who attempts to arrest both Akiha and Leopard. The group utilizes their QT-Arms to prevent Leopard from colliding with Earth. The episode concludes with Honoka Kawai appearing on Leopard, addressing Akiha as "The Girl Who Leapt Through Space."
