After Lamplight’s failed chili bomb attack using Lily, Sybilla plans to steal a document from Klaus alone. Lily discovers Sybilla’s motive: becoming a spy to support her orphanage siblings. Sybilla tails Klaus but fails to steal his bag, instead encountering Finé, a pickpocket. Sybilla’s pity allows Finé to steal the bag. Klaus reveals he is hunting a criminal exploiting orphans. Sybilla defeats the criminal, and Klaus arrests him, leading to the children’s rescue by police. Sybilla states her desire to create a world free from child exploitation, earning Klaus’s praise for her motivation. Klaus then reveals Lamplight planted a chili bomb on Sybilla, which he avoids. Sybilla confronts Lily, who deflects by suggesting Sybilla has a crush on Klaus. Klaus observes this deception with satisfaction.
