Ep. 24: Okabe uses a gadget to save Kurisu, then meets her in Akihabara

Okabe and Suzuha travel back to retrieve liquid from a Future Gadget to replace Kurisu’s blood. Okabe secures a metal toy from Mayuri to prevent Nakabachi’s paper from burning. When the gadget’s liquid is dry, Okabe allows Nakabachi to stab him and tases Kurisu. He uses his own blood to recreate the scene, letting Nakabachi escape with the theory. Suzuha thanks him and vanishes because she does not yet exist in this world line. After recovering, Okabe distributes badges to lab members recruited in other timelines, reserving one for Suzuha, who will be born in seven years. Walking in Akihabara, he reflects on his time with Kurisu and accepts that she may not remember their shared past. Kurisu then appears, thanking him for saving her life. Noting she retains memories of alternate world lines, Okabe accepts this encounter as part of the Steins Gate world line.
