Ep. 20: Okabe and Moeka track the IBN 5100 to France while confronting Mr. Braun who reveals his identity as FB.

Although Okabe knows the IBN 5100's location, Kurisu advises against stealing it, suggesting they instead stake out the area to locate FB. Moeka joins Okabe for the surveillance. They follow the computer as it is passed among several individuals, including Mr. Braun, before it is transported on a plane to a SERN laboratory in France. The trio confronts Mr. Braun, who admits to being FB and a Rounder coerced into acting to protect Nae. He then kills Moeka before committing suicide. Using Braun's phone, Okabe cancels Moeka's D-Mail, shifting to a world line where both Moeka and Braun survive, allowing him to retrieve the IBN at the shrine. Okabe then tasks Daru with hacking the SERN network to erase their data, only to realize this action would require returning to a world line where Kurisu is dead.
