Ep. 21: Okabe tries to save Mayuri without causing Kurisu's death in the Beta world line

Refusing to accept a timeline where Kurisu dies, Okabe halts his hacking efforts. He accompanies Mayuri to a comic market, struggling to find a method to save her without triggering the Beta world line where Kurisu is stabbed. When a car approaches during Mayuri’s destined time of death, Okabe attempts to sacrifice himself, but Mayuri pushes him aside and dies instead. After time leaping, Kurisu forces Okabe to confess that she dies in the Beta world line. Okabe later finds Mayuri at her grandmother’s grave, where he overhears her mentioning dreams of her previous deaths and her awareness of his suffering. Meanwhile, Kurisu visits the specific location where she is fated to die in the Beta world line.
