Ep. 22: Kurisu recalls stabbing dreams and Okabe chooses Mayuri before shifting to Beta world line
Kurisu discloses to Okabe that she remembers her stabbing from dreams alongside his repeated efforts to save Mayuri. Although she advises him to prioritize Mayuri’s life, Okabe refuses and returns to the lab to attempt another time leap. Kurisu intervenes, fearing that witnessing Mayuri’s death repeatedly will break his mind. Okabe eventually agrees to save Mayuri and confesses his love, prompting Kurisu to kiss him. The following day, Kurisu prepares to return to America while Okabe and the others erase their data from the SERN network. Just after deletion, Kurisu returns to the lab to confess her love, but Okabe shifts back to the Beta world line before she can finish. After destroying the Phone Microwave, Okabe receives a call from an alternate Suzuha warning him to prevent World War III.
