Ep. 30: Phantom Thief Mouse Kid Warns Kaneda About Statue Theft

Kaneda Kanesuke claims to be Kousaku's uncle, prompting Hibari and Kousaku to visit his mansion. They encounter Phantom Thief Mouse Kid, who warns Kaneda about a planned theft of the Thinking White Alligator statue. Ibari and Seiji arrive, leading to a conflict with Kaneda over Kousaku's future. After being knocked out by gas, Kaneda reveals himself as the thief, testing Kousaku's potential before stealing the statue for insurance money. Hibari catches him, and Ibari drives Kaneda away while hiding the truth from Kousaku. Hibari and Seiji later discover Kaneda is not related to Kousaku's mother, Harue. Kousaku accepts the Oozoras as family but falls off the roof while fleeing Hibari's marriage proposal.
