Ep. 12: Ryu and Ken confront their inner selves while rescuing hostages from criminals in the Cave of the Ancients.

Two surviving criminals hold Dhalsim and villagers hostage, demanding Ryu and Ken retrieve treasure from the Cave of the Ancients. The duo enters the cave and is forced to fight an unseen opponent, unaware that the adversary is a manifestation of their own inner spirit. After sustaining severe injuries, they recognize each other as the true enemy, causing the illusion to vanish. They exit the cave and surrender the treasure to the criminals, who attempt to eliminate them for no longer being useful. Dhalsim intervenes, paralyzing the attackers, and subsequently heals Ryu and Ken’s wounds, agreeing to instruct them in the ways of Hadou.
