Yamato leaves Nagi with Mei to visit Megumi, who has isolated herself due to past social anxieties. He meets Megumi’s best friend Momo, and together they encourage Megumi to open her door. As time passes, stability returns to the group. During the summer festival, Mei’s mother insists she spend time with Yamato. Although they arrive late and miss the fireworks, Yamato kisses Mei at the empty shrine, marking a stable and affectionate moment between them.
