Yuki clarifies the Integrated Data Sentient Entity and its connection to herself and Haruhi, noting Haruhi’s unaware reality-altering powers. Kyon remains skeptical of this information. The SOS Brigade gains Itsuki Koizumi, a mysterious transfer student. During a school day off, the group investigates city mysteries in pairs. Mikuru discloses to Kyon that she is a time-traveler on a mission related to Haruhi. Kyon later confronts Itsuki, who is revealed to be an esper, and learns about the Agency’s purpose. These new members confirm that Haruhi altered the universe’s reality three years ago.
