Keiichi Tamaru, identified as a distant relative of Itsuki, invites the SOS Brigade and Kyon's sister to his newly constructed island villa. On their initial day, the group enjoys the property and plays on the beach until a storm forces them indoors. While waiting for the weather to clear, Haruhi and her friends engage in indoor games and enjoy their time together. The atmosphere shifts when Keiichi suddenly vanishes, prompting the group to begin a search for him. The situation concludes with the SOS Brigade members discovering Keiichi's lifeless body in his room.
