Ep. 13: The group splits to stop the Malkuth-Kimlasca war, but Natalia faces exposure as a false princess in Baticul.

Upon returning from a rescue mission, the party discovers open conflict between Malkuth and Kimlasca. To negotiate peace, they divide: Jade, Anise, and Ion visit Emperor Peony in Malkuth, while Luke, Natalia, Tear, Guy, and Mieu travel to Kimlasca. In Baticul, Grand Maestro Mohs reveals Natalia is an impostor; the royal infant died in childbirth, and her attendant Merly was substituted to spare the queen grief. Accused of treason and complicity in Akzeriuth’s destruction, the group is imprisoned. Guy and Tear are jailed, while Luke and Natalia are given poison for a dignified suicide. Luke smashes the glasses, allowing Asch to free the others, who then rescue Luke and Natalia from their confinement.
