Selen vows to find Marie and secure Lloyd’s academy admission. Lloyd informs Alka and Marie he will work until the next exam. Marie reveals King Azami is controlled by someone planning war with the Jiou Empire, but Alka refuses aid, citing Kunlun’s power. Selen fights noble student Allan Lidocaine; her cursed belt protects her, confirming Lloyd as her soulmate. Selen declares Lloyd her champion to fight Allan. Marie uses wind magic to steal Lloyd away before he accidentally kills Allan.
