Selen duels Phyllo but is disqualified for physical contact. Lloyd subsequently defeats Mena’s water magic and later wins an arm wrestling match against Phyllo, who proposes marriage. Rol removes Riho’s prosthetic, triggering a high-level water spell that frightens him. Upon waking, Rol learns a witch retrieved the holy sword and orders Phyllo to kidnap the witch’s companion. Phyllo instead steals Alka’s magic crystal, prompting Lloyd to search for Marie, whom he believes is kidnapped. Alka punishes Rol for an insult, and Allan saves Rol from a river, receiving credit for saving the town. Riho visits Rol in the hospital, revealing his ambition stems from a desire to help her rebuild their failing orphanage. Meanwhile, an unknown magician is revealed to have manipulated Rol’s memories to obtain the sword for defeating the dungeon in Kunlun.
