Ep. 3: Marie Conceals Her Royal Identity While Chrome Investigates The King's Possession
Lloyd mistakenly believes Marie saved him from Allan, a misconception Chrome exploits when he identifies her as Princess Maria. Marie warns Chrome that her father’s manipulator will likely declare war at a summit in three days and seeks his aid. Selen searches for the princess but is angered to find Lloyd living with Marie. When Marie nearly reveals her true identity, Lloyd interrupts by praising her secret heroism, allowing Marie to dismiss him as weak. After Lloyd departs, Marie enlists Selen and Riho’s help. Alka commends Marie for excluding Lloyd but punishes her for losing a magic crystal down a well. Chrome accuses Merthohan of cursing the king, which Merthohan admits. However, the king reveals he is possessed by Demon Lord Abbadon and was controlling Merthohan. Marie chases her father to use a rune to free him, but he breaks her hand holding the rune.
