Jan 18, 2021Lloyd mistakenly believes Marie saved him from Allan, a misconception Chrome exploits when he identifies her as Princess Maria. Marie warns Chrome that her father’s manipulator will likely declare war at a summit in three days and seeks his aid. Selen searches for the princess but is angered to find Lloyd living with Marie. When Marie nearly reveals her true identity, Lloyd interrupts by praising her secret heroism, allowing Marie to dismiss him as weak. After Lloyd departs, Marie enlists Selen and Riho’s help. Alka commends Marie for excluding Lloyd but punishes her for losing a magic crystal down a well. Chrome accuses Merthohan of cursing the king, which Merthohan admits. However, the king reveals he is possessed by Demon Lord Abbadon and was controlling Merthohan. Marie chases her father to use a rune to free him, but he breaks her hand holding the rune.

Jan 25, 2021Marie recognizes that Lloyd is permitted to battle a Demon Lord. Lloyd discovers Allan hiding from Abbadon's locust monsters and urges him to fight like a soldier. Alka destroys the creatures after they ruin her romantic intentions for Lloyd. Chrome, Riho, and Selen engage Merthohan, who transforms into a locust hybrid. Lloyd arrives, appeals to Merthohan's desire to be a true soldier, and defeats him with a slap. Marie requests Lloyd to clean the dirt from the king's body. He complies, unaware that his cleansing rune is powerful enough to purge Abbadon from the king. The following day, Lloyd's brother Shōma arrives but vanishes before Alka can see him. Chrome rejoins the army while Merthohan is exiled to Kunlun. With the king cured, Marie chooses to remain a witch. Allan, grateful for Lloyd's help, declares him his master and secures his admission to the academy. Alka clashes with Selen over Lloyd and realizes her belt is a powerful protective relic missing from Kunlun for years. Annoyed with everyone, Marie banishes Alka back to Kunlun through her crystal and sends Lloyd and his friends to school.

Feb 1, 2021Marie takes Lloyd on a mission where he pulls a Holy Sword from a stone. Choline announces an inter-academy match against Rokujou Academy. Selen and Lloyd decide to learn healing magic. Marie meets sisters Mena and Phyllo of Rokujou Academy, who are searching for Riho. Sensing Lloyd's powerful aura, Phyllo instinctively attacks him. Alka then turns Marie into a butterfly. Rol, Rokujou's headmistress, tries to make Riho come home, but Riho angrily refuses. Seeing Riho upset, Lloyd asks Riho on a date thanks to Marie's advice. Riho reveals Rol gave her the prosthetic Mithril arm, but Riho realized Mithril drains magic and Rol only wanted the arm to draw a holy sword, so she ran away. The next day, Micona, a second year student, tries to outdo Lloyd, but is instantly defeated. Micona goes to Marie for healing as she has a crush on her, only to realize Lloyd lives with her. As the matches begin, Riho swears to defeat Rol, just as it is announced the grand prize is the Holy Sword Lloyd previously pulled out. Micona is later seen telling her story to Shōma.
EP 6Selen is disqualified for striking Phyllo, while Lloyd defeats Phyllo in an arm wrestling match instead of a duel.
Feb 8, 2021Selen duels Phyllo but is disqualified for physical contact. Lloyd subsequently defeats Mena’s water magic and later wins an arm wrestling match against Phyllo, who proposes marriage. Rol removes Riho’s prosthetic, triggering a high-level water spell that frightens him. Upon waking, Rol learns a witch retrieved the holy sword and orders Phyllo to kidnap the witch’s companion. Phyllo instead steals Alka’s magic crystal, prompting Lloyd to search for Marie, whom he believes is kidnapped. Alka punishes Rol for an insult, and Allan saves Rol from a river, receiving credit for saving the town. Riho visits Rol in the hospital, revealing his ambition stems from a desire to help her rebuild their failing orphanage. Meanwhile, an unknown magician is revealed to have manipulated Rol’s memories to obtain the sword for defeating the dungeon in Kunlun.

Feb 15, 2021Lloyd accepts a cleaning position at a hotel where owner Coba reports mysterious attacks on staff. Lord Threonine, a difficult guest, visits and praises Lloyd’s knowledge of a local cypress forest. Threonine later confides in maid Kikyou, suspecting Coba of illegally raising treants and expressing frustration over a forced marriage between his son Allan and the local lord’s daughter. Suspecting Lloyd is possessed due to his abilities, Kikyou administers an antidote meant for him, but Coba accidentally drinks it. Coba then suspects Kikyou and Threonine of orchestrating the attacks. Riho and Selen arrive as guests, with Selen’s father present. Selen is delighted to see Lloyd, who replaced the unconscious Allan, and proposes they investigate the area together on a date.
EP 8Pretend lovers become real as Lloyd defeats the Demon Lord of Trees
Feb 22, 2021Shōma delivers firebombs while Kikyou attempts an antidote massage on Lloyd, fleeing when Selen interrupts. Lloyd enters a mixed hot spring, angering Selen before Riho, Marie, Alka, Phyllo, and Mena arrive. Kikyou meets Minoki, Threonine's secretary, who confesses to creating treants before being possessed by the Demon Lord of Trees, Erkling. Lloyd defeats the treants as Erkling targets the hotel. Selen's father admits to legally trading treants with Shōma. Lloyd's friends use firebombs to restrain Erkling while Lloyd removes his demon seed, restoring Minoki. Shōma later reveals to Alka that he allied with her enemies after the holy sword's removal. Selen's father cancels her arranged marriage, allowing her soldier career. Alka requests a massage from Lloyd, but he accidentally performs a German Suplex.
EP 9Micona confronts Lloyd while Sou battles Vritra, the dragon guardian of Kunlun.
Mar 1, 2021Micona encounters Shōma and Father Sou, while the king tasks Lloyd with slaying a giant snake. Sou enters the dungeon to defeat the beast, followed by Alka seeking Sou and Marie finding an infected Micona. Lloyd fights Micona, who claims friendship weakened her, but he defeats her by asserting that allies made him a true soldier. The snake awakens as Vritra, Guardian of Kunlun and source of Alka’s power. Sou kills Vritra, who reveals his soul resides in Selen’s belt, created inadvertently by Alka. Sou teleports away, promising to unlock Kunlun’s dungeon, and the collapsing dungeon forces Alka to teleport everyone to safety. Due to a mix-up, Allan receives the title Dragon Slayer. Lloyd recognizes Sou as a villain from a Kunlun fairy tale, and Alka later kidnaps Selen and Vritra, claiming she needs them in Kunlun.

Mar 8, 2021An exhibition match celebrates peace between Azami and Jiou, forcing Allan to fight while Lloyd, Marie, and others accompany Alka, Selen, and Vritra to Kunlun. They meet Eug, a Dwarven resident, and discover the locals view legendary dragons as common pests. Selen’s marriage plans are ruined when children turn her licenses into dragon-repelling weapons, and she later feels inadequate compared to other girls impressing Lloyd’s relatives. Meanwhile, Alka and Eug discuss erasing part of Vritra’s memory for unknown reasons. Choline and Chrome visit Merthophan, who refuses to return. Merthophan tells Marie he received a mysterious egg from a traveling merchant that possessed the king, noting a specific phrase the merchant used that Marie recognizes.
EP 11Eug betrays Alka to open the Kunlun dungeon while Lloyd searches for the powerless girl
Mar 15, 2021To preserve Alka’s abilities, Vritra’s body requires resurrection. Alka discloses that Kunlun’s dungeon is a prison for Demon Lords, with villagers serving as guards. This site contains a world-altering power, yet remains at risk because Alka neglected Vritra’s importance. Eug initiates Vritra’s transformation into an egg, stripping Alka of her powers. Once isolated, Eug reveals her true intent to unlock the dungeon herself, having waited for Alka’s weakness. She dispatches Lloyd to find Alka, trapping him in Kunlun, while teleporting others to Azami and sealing the portal. Riho visits Rol, who recalls a magician resembling Eug who altered her memories, though she misses the connection. At the match, the king arrives with Shōma and Sou. Suspicious, Riho requests the match be canceled. Meanwhile, Lloyd locates and frees Alka.
EP 12Alka blasts Lloyd back while Sou reveals his artificial origins and war plans
Mar 22, 2021Alka uses a cannon to send Lloyd back to Azami. During a match, Sou suggests world domination to the king, who refuses. Merthophan fights Shōma, who admits boredom and plans a war to make Lloyd a hero. Sou reveals he is an artificial being created by Alka centuries ago to save the world but cannot die, so he wants Lloyd to kill him. Lloyd arrives and accuses Eug of faking Vritra's resurrection. Marie plays along with Alka's lie to help Lloyd defeat Eug's creatures. Selen steals Vritra's egg and torments Eug into becoming a belt. Alka returns with restored powers, prompting Sou and Shōma to leave with Eug as Lloyd is hailed as a hero. Allen receives credit for defending the king, while Lloyd remains oblivious living with Marie and his friends.
