Ep. 26: Ran and Midori: I Have Something Inside

During an animal attack, Midori attempts to fight but is stopped by Ran, resulting in injuries for both. While arguing, Midori and Momoko are transported away, leaving Ran to plead with Ōgami against destroying humanity. Despite sustaining cuts from the animals, Ran refuses to retaliate. Upon returning, Midori also chooses not to fight, leading the animals to revert to humans who trust Ran. Persuaded, Ōgami allows them to return to a thriving beech tree at school, where their wounds vanish. Later, in their second year of junior-high school, Ran feels depressed because Rui is in a different class. Hearing a new voice, she and Midori investigate the emerging mystery.
