Ep. 3: Tokiwadai loses Balloon Hunter due to Yoshio Baba's espionage targeting Misaka 10032.

Tokiwadai participates in the Balloon Hunter event against a rival school that secures an early advantage using intelligence provided by MEMBER operative Yoshio Baba. Mistaking Misaka 10032 for Mikoto, Yoshio orders his teammates to attack her and deploys a robotic mosquito to inject her with a nanodevice. Tokiwadai ultimately loses the competition. Following the event, Mikoto has lunch with her mother, Misuzu Misaka, and encounters Toma Kamijo and Misaki while purchasing drinks. Ruiko and Kazari investigate rumors regarding a metal called Shadow Metal. Meanwhile, Misaka 10032 collapses from the effects of the nanodevice and is discovered by Misaki.
