Ep. 22: Accelerator fights Amata while Touma defeats Vento and Index frees Last Order

Accelerator battles Amata but loses power, yet resumes his attack through sheer will. Touma confronts Vento, who explains her anti-science hatred stems from a childhood accident where only she survived. Touma refutes her logic and defeats her. Meanwhile, Hyouka creates snow to shield civilians. Index reaches the Hound Dogs' headquarters and, using Mikoto's scientific knowledge, discovers Last Order is being used to create an angel. She sings to break Last Order's shackles, which resonates with Accelerator, allowing him to blast Amata into the sky. Acqua of the Back arrives, takes Vento's cross now that her Divine Retribution is dispelled, and warns Touma not to fight him before departing with Vento.
