Noriko Takaya has attended a giant robot training school for less than a month when the institution announces the selection of two candidates to join the Exelion spaceship for missions against an invading mech army. Kazumi Amano, a beautiful senior, is the obvious choice for one position, yet Noriko is surprisingly selected for the second spot. This decision sparks jealousy among the other girls, who suspect Noriko’s selection stems from her father being an Admiral during a previous mission. Reiko Kashihara, a school rival, rejects this assumption and challenges Noriko to a duel to settle the matter.
