Ep. 3: Noriko meets Toren Smith before the fleet engages in battle at Leaf 64.

While the Exelion prepares for a hyperspace jump, crew members remain in their quarters. Noriko loses a dare and wanders the ship, where she encounters Toren Smith. They are caught out of place and punished by polishing laser cannon lenses. The fleet then detects an enemy fly-by, leading to a large battle at Leaf 64. Toren volunteers as Noriko’s partner for the upcoming combat, especially since she has fallen out of favor with Kazumi. However, the pair faces significant danger as they become overwhelmed by the sweeping enemy forces during the engagement.
