1EP 1Koyomi and Shinobu discuss Yotsugi Ononoki's nature before Valentine's Day arrives.
Dec 31, 2014Koyomi Araragi and Shinobu Oshino debate whether Yotsugi Ononoki is an apparition suited for human life, with Shinobu arguing her humanity stems from interaction needs rather than desire. Koyomi reflects that apparitions exist because people believe in them, foreshadowing the series' end. The narrative shifts to Koyomi waking to his sisters, Karen and Tsukihi Araragi. Karen urges him to focus on upcoming college entrance exams rather than Valentine's Day, leaving him to prepare a bath. Koyomi and Tsukihi discuss Karen's dedication to karate and the Fire Sisters, acknowledging her need for independence. After a brief argument, the siblings share the bath. Tsukihi mentions Nadeko Sengoku's hospital release, prompting Koyomi to resolve to balance spiritual energy in the town before leaving for college. He worries about his burden, but Tsukihi advises against excessive stress. The scene ends with Koyomi noticing his reflection is missing in the mirror, hinting at his vampire nature.
2EP 2Koyomi seeks Yozuru's help to understand his gradual transformation into a vampire.
Dec 31, 2014Koyomi hides his lack of reflection from Tsukihi before Karen attacks them. He discusses his condition with Shinobu, who confirms he is becoming a vampire despite a toe injury that appeared unhealed. Shinobu suggests consulting Yozuru Kagenui, but Koyomi refuses to use Kaiki as an intermediary. They decide to contact Izuko Gaen instead, who messages him to meet at an arcade. Koyomi asks Tsukihi to stay at Suruga Kanbaru's house to protect her from potential danger. At the arcade, Koyomi retrieves Yotsugi from a claw machine after twelve attempts. Yozuru examines Koyomi at the abandoned cram school ruins, breaking his fingers to demonstrate that vampires can consciously heal. Yotsugi explains that Koyomi is slowly turning into a vampire because his soul has become accustomed to that state due to frequent past transformations and daily power usage while saving Sengoku. Yozuru states that the transformation cannot be reversed.
3EP 3Koyomi accepts vampire limits while Yozuru and Yotsugi confront Shinobu over potential threats.
Dec 31, 2014Koyomi accepts Yozuru’s condition to cease using vampire powers to halt his transformation, despite internal doubts about his ability to resist saving loved ones. Shinobu threatens Yozuru with death if Koyomi dies, forcing a tense standoff. Yotsugi urges Koyomi to maintain the status quo. Later, Yozuru receives a call from Izuko, prompting an urgent visit to Suruga’s house. They find Koyomi’s sisters and Suruga missing, replaced by paper cranes indicating a target on Tsukihi. Yozuru identifies the kidnapper as Teori Tadatsuru, an apparition specialist and doll master who views apparitions as beautiful. Teori operates outside Izuko’s network, rendering Meme’s assessment irrelevant. The group deciphers a crane revealing Teori’s location at North Shirahebi Shrine. Yotsugi and Koyomi prepare to jump near the mountain, while Yozuru proceeds alone, advising Koyomi to act on his own judgment.
4EP 4Yotsugi Doll Part Four details mountain ascent, backstory, and confrontation with Teori
Dec 31, 2014Koyomi and Yotsugi meet Ougi Oshino before climbing the mountain to rescue hostages. Yotsugi reveals her origin as an artificial shikigami created by Yozuru, Teori, Meme, and Deishu Kaiki under Izuko’s direction, explaining her choice to stay with Yozuru. She suggests sacrificing herself to Teori, but Koyomi refuses, proposing a decoy plan instead. At the shrine, Teori folds origami to count time, revealing a curse preventing him from walking on the ground. He suspects his role is manipulated by an unseen force and urges Koyomi to find Meme for balance. As time runs out, Teori prepares to fight, feeling used as a pawn. Yotsugi appears and kills Teori with her powers, shocking Koyomi. She claims this action preserves her monstrous nature and warns him not to become like her. The hostages are rescued, and Koyomi feels disgusted by the rift created by the incident. Later, Hitagi Senjougahara gives Koyomi chocolates for Valentine's Day, advising him to focus on the present. Yotsugi moves into the Araragi household, having been won by Tsukihi, to help reconcile with Koyomi until balance returns to the town.
