During a mission to eliminate Gellis Bugmechs, Haruki receives direct orders to retreat immediately. Ignoring these commands, he pursues the enemy alone, with Saiki providing support. Together, they successfully defeat multiple squads of Gellis Bugmechs, demonstrating their combat effectiveness and solidifying Haruki's resolve to protect Fort Daiva City through his own merits rather than his family's status.
