Jan 6, 2009The AGS Blademen Unit VIPER is dispatched to intercept a Megasoma Bugmech heading for Daiva City. The mechanical beast mounts a fierce defense against the AQS Maneuver-Blades, inflicting casualties that nearly compel the army to intervene. Operative Saiki Cryde opts to self-destruct his Maneuver-Blade to destroy the Megasoma, an action that also demolishes a section of a highway. Although the threat is neutralized, Saiki is compelled to forfeit the majority of his incentive pay to cover the costs of the highway repairs.

Jan 13, 2009Haruki Oguma, son of AGS President Fuyuhiko Oguma, joins the AQS Blademan unit to prove his capability without familial influence, despite his father's objections. His appointment causes skepticism among veteran operatives like Saiki, who question his motives due to his presidential ties. During a mission to eliminate Gellis Bugmechs, Haruki receives direct orders to retreat immediately. Ignoring these commands, he pursues the enemy alone, with Saiki providing support. Together, they successfully defeat multiple squads of Gellis Bugmechs, demonstrating their combat effectiveness and solidifying Haruki's resolve to protect Fort Daiva City through his own merits rather than his family's status.

While hiding from the police, he receives shelter from an old war friend named Doc. Meanwhile, Kariya covertly investigates the person framing him. She discovers that one of their own may be the actual shooter responsible for the homeless man's death and framed Saiki. Kariya enlists Haruki's help to locate the culprit. At the same time, Norma and Rudra arrive at the scene, aiming to capture the culprit for monetary gain.
4EP 4Norma works alone to raise ransom for kidnapped daughter Marie while evading a bomb and gunman.
Jan 27, 2009Norma acts independently to secure funds for the ransom of a young elementary school student abducted from a monorail by an unidentified individual. The transport vehicle contains a Ticker bomb installed by an Acromantis Bugmech. After being shot by a gunman near Daiva City, Norma discloses to Kariya and Saiki that the child is Marie, her sole daughter. Norma explains that she surrendered Marie for adoption during their period as homeless refugees following a war, citing an inability to provide necessary care. She subsequently joined the Blademan operatives to guarantee Marie’s well-being.

Feb 3, 2009Police detain Rudra as the primary suspect in the sniper assassination of a public official, despite his presence with AGS personnel during an anti-terrorist operation. Following his release from custody due to AGS intervention, Rudra deduces that the attacker is someone from his past. Motivated to resolve the debt and find new purpose, Gharib assists the owner's daughter in overcoming her past and improving her culinary skills to secure the restaurant's future.
7EP 7Riot erupts after Hounds blamed for bombing, prompting AGS anti-terror mission
Feb 17, 2009Following a mall bombing attributed to the Hounds, an anti-AGS riot escalates until Rudra threatens force. While media portrays the group as non-lethal extremists, Haruki doubts this narrative and consults Ulla Chiaki, the Hounds' leader and his friend. Ulla confirms her group did not plant the bomb. Despite this, public pressure regarding pro and anti-Hound sentiments compels AGS to launch an anti-terrorist operation. The Blademen are deployed to locate the suspects, but their systems are hacked, allowing Ulla and her associates to evade capture and escape the situation.

To uncover the truth behind their framing as terrorists, Saiki leads the group in storming AGS headquarters to recover their Maneuver-Blades.
